Role: AV Support Engineer

Position Overview:

A Video Conferencing Engineer is responsible for the implementation support, and

maintenance of video conferencing systems to facilitate seamless communication and

collaboration within an organization. This role requires expertise in audio-visual

technologies, network infrastructure, and communication protocols.

What you would be doing with us?

System Design and Implementation:

Should work with AV Vendor for the implementation of video conferencing systems

based on organizational requirements.

Integrate video conferencing solutions with existing communication and collaboration

tools.

Technical Support:

Provide technical support for video conferencing systems, troubleshooting issues

promptly.

Collaborate with end-users to understand and resolve any connectivity or functionality

issues.

Conduct regular system checks to identify and address potential issues proactively.

Network Infrastructure:

Collaborate with the IT team to optimize network infrastructure for video conferencing

performance.

Hardware and Software Maintenance:

Regularly update and maintain video conferencing hardware and software.

User Training:

Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure they are proficient in using video

conferencing tools.

Develop documentation and training materials to assist users in utilizing the technology

effectively.

Quality Assurance:

Monitor and assess the quality of video and audio during conferences.

Implement measures to enhance the overall user experience and system reliability.

Collaboration with IT Teams:

Collaborate with IT teams to integrate video conferencing solutions with other enterprise

systems.

Stay Informed about Industry Trends:

Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in video conferencing technologies.

Evaluate new products and technologies for potential integration into the organization's

infrastructure.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in ECE,IT or Csc.

Proven experience in implementation and supporting video conferencing systems.

Proficiency in audio-visual technologies, codecs, and communication protocols.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of network infrastructure.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
