Job Summary:

Automotive Technical Trainer - South Training Centre

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical training sessions for KIA dealer service staff, including programs such as TRP, KSAP, KSMP, and CCE.
  • Develop training aggregates and aids, such as cut-sections, working modules, training boards, and props.
  • Design and develop training modules, covering both technical topics and soft skills.
  • Prepare and facilitate skill contests (theory and practical components).
  • Review and upgrade training content regularly to align with the latest automotive technologies and processes.
  • Create and implement effective training programs and deliver them as per scheduled plans.
  • Organize all arrangements for technical training sessions, including logistics and materials.
  • Deliver on-the-job training to support real-time learning and skill application.
  • Conduct Train-the-Trainer programs to build internal training capability.
  • Evaluate dealer manpower skills and knowledge through structured assessments.
  • Train field teams to enhance their technical proficiency and service delivery.
  • Develop methodologies for assessing dealer manpower capabilities and evaluating training program effectiveness.
  • Guide and prepare candidates for national/international technical competitions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive technologies and industry trends to ensure personal skill enhancement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in the automotive industry; experience with

    passenger vehicles

    is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and creative thinking abilities.
  • Good understanding of industry practices, technical systems, and after-sales service operations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in content development and training delivery for both classroom and field environments.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Certification in technical training or instructional design (optional but advantageous).
  • Experience in preparing candidates for skill contests or competitions.
  • Familiarity with dealership operations and customer service processes.
