Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate Automation Tester with around 1.5 years of hands-on experience in test automation for web and/or mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in QA, test frameworks, and scripting, along with a problem-solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Appium / Playwright / Cypress.
• Participate in requirement analysis and identify test scenarios for automation coverage.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results, logs, and reports.
• Work closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure smooth CI/CD integration of automated tests.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira.
• Maintain proper test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and execution reports.
• Ensure test environments, test data, and automation frameworks are up to date.
• Perform regression testing and support UAT/internal testing cycles.

Required Skills

• 1 - 2 years of experience in automation testing.
• Practical experience with Appium / Playwright / Cypress (any one).
• Strong knowledge of Java / Python / JavaScript for scripting.
• Experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks (Hybrid, POM, BDD is a plus).
• Good understanding of REST API testing (Postman preferred).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Knowledge of bug-tracking tools like Jira.

Good to Have

• Experience with Mobile automation (Android/iOS) using Appium.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter).
• Exposure to cloud device testing platforms like BrowserStack / LambdaTest.
