Role Overview We are looking for a passionate Automation Tester with around 1.5 years of hands-on experience in test automation for web and/or mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in QA, test frameworks, and scripting, along with a problem-solving mindset. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Appium / Playwright / Cypress. Participate in requirement analysis and identify test scenarios for automation coverage. Execute automated test suites and analyze results, logs, and reports. Work closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure smooth CI/CD integration of automated tests. Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira. Maintain proper test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and execution reports. Ensure test environments, test data, and automation frameworks are up to date. Perform regression testing and support UAT/internal testing cycles. Required Skills 1 - 2 years of experience in automation testing. Practical experience with Appium / Playwright / Cypress (any one). Strong knowledge of Java / Python / JavaScript for scripting. Experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks (Hybrid, POM, BDD is a plus). Good understanding of REST API testing (Postman preferred). Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology. Knowledge of bug-tracking tools like Jira. Good to Have Experience with Mobile automation (Android/iOS) using Appium. Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter). Exposure to cloud device testing platforms like BrowserStack / LambdaTest. Soft Skills Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset. Good communication and documentation skills.
