Role & responsibilities

Manual Testing JD.

Minimum 3+ years of Software Testing experience in Custody Services Domain with strong knowledge of Corporate Actions, Income, Trade Settlements.

Excellent knowledge of User Acceptance Testing Functional and Regression Testing, strong knowledge of JIRA and Zephyr for test management.

Excellent knowledge of SDLC and STLC required.

Experienced in end-to-end Test Management, Stakeholder communications, creating Test plan, Test scenario identification, Test case design, Traceability matrix, Test case execution.

Strong Capital Markets Domain knowledge in Corporate Actions including Asset Servicing, Cash, Settlements preferred.

Worked on BaNCS in Capital Markets domain either in Production or UAT environment preferred.

ISTQB certified preferred.

Experience in the following Systems preferred: BaNCS, EMC, SECORE, SFE, SMI, Flexcube

1) Experience in E2E UAT (Test Planning, Execution, Defect management & documentation) Knowledge of BaNCS, SECORE and Flexcube applications will be an added advantage.

2) Provides work effort estimations for UAT scope, based upon established Entrance and Exit criteria, and maintains adherence to risk management guidelines.

3) Strong coordination skills in dealing with diverse product, development and project management teams.

4) Ensures the correct process (defect resolution, change management, and issue management) is identified and followed to achieve timely resolution.

Automation Testing : JD .

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in software testing
• Strong Java knowledge, ability to write code/functions for complex test scenarios, integration points and supporting multiple technologies (legacy and digital)
• Working knowledge of automation scripting with the ability to code and debug scripts
• Working experience with test UI automation tools such as Selenium, and an understanding of coding structure and best practices
• Experience with automated API tests for RESTful applications using RestAssured or equivalent, knowing the Restful concepts and automation practices
• Experience with testing frameworks (Cucumber, TestNG, or JUnit)
• Knowledge and working experience on creating/enhancing Automation frameworks.
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a behavior driven development model (BDD)
• Proficient with at least one of the following types of databases - Relational or NoSQL databases (Oracle, Teradata, Hadoop, MongoDB)
• Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
• Experience programming with object-oriented programming.
• Solid understanding of software testing practices.
• Should be able to solve logical problems using Java

Nice to have:

• Working experience in Integrating automation tests with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
• Strong agile background – Sprint ceremonies, scrum
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira or HP Application Lifecycle Management
