Automation Tester

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester with strong experience in the Life Sciences (LS) domain and hands-on expertise in modern automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, contribute to end-to-end testing activities, and ensure compliance with GxP validation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation scripts using Playwright with Python
• Execute automated and manual test scenarios across multiple applications
• Ensure test coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing
• Review and understand business requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documents
• Perform SQL-based data validation and backend testing
• Manage defects through the entire lifecycle using standard defect management tools
• Follow and contribute to STLC processes, test planning, test design, test execution, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with GxP validation, documentation standards, and audit readiness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, BA, QA leads, and validation teams
• Work independently with minimal supervision and meet project timelines

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing
• Strong exposure to the Life Sciences (LS) / Pharma domain
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Playwright Automation using Python scripting
• Strong knowledge of automation tools/frameworks available in the market
• Solid understanding of STLC, testing methodologies, and defect lifecycle management
• Proficiency in SQL for database validation
• Experience in GxP compliance, validation documentation, and regulated environments
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
