About the Job:

We are looking for a hands-on Selenium + Python Automation Tester. In this role, you will be responsible for actively developing and executing test automation scripts. You will work closely with the team to ensure the creation and maintenance of robust automation frameworks, while also contributing to the development and strategy of the testing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Actively contribute to the development, execution, and maintenance of automation tests using Selenium and Python.

• Collaborate with the QA team to design and implement scalable test automation frameworks from scratch or enhance existing ones.

• Provide hands-on during the implementation of test automation for both web and mobile applications (using Appium).

• Coordinate and communicate with other teams (development teams, etc.) to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment on quality goals.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the automation framework and test scripts.

• Review and improve existing automated test scripts to ensure they are maintainable, efficient, and cover all necessary scenarios.

• Provide status updates to senior management and stakeholders on the progress of automation efforts and highlight key blockers or risks.

• Assist in managing the overall testing strategy, with a focus on performance, regression, and functional testing.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Python for web automation testing.

• Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium and Python.

• Proficiency with JUnit, TestNG, or other test frameworks.

• Experience with Version Control systems such as Git.

• Exposure to Agile methodologies and working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• Strong troubleshooting and debugging abilities to identify and resolve issues with test automation.

• Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with automated tests.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or Azure).

• Exposure to API testing (e.g., using Postman, Rest Assured).

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or 

equivalent experience).

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing (minimum 2 years).
