Automation Systems Engineer

Job Title: Systems Engineer – Home Automation Location: Hyderabad Department: Technical Reporting To: Team Lead Experience Required: 2–5 Years Education Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or related field Job Summary: We are looking for a technically skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our Home Automation team. The ideal candidate will support the design, installation, and maintenance of smart home systems, including automation controls, structured cabling, and networking. This role also involves hands-on R&D participation and documentation work to ensure smooth project delivery. Key Responsibilities: • Install and configure smart home systems, including lighting, HVAC, security, AV, and networking devices. • Perform structured cabling work and electrical terminations as per project requirements. • Read and interpret AutoCAD drawings and blueprints to execute installations accurately. • Collaborate with project managers and design teams to implement automation solutions. • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of home automation systems. • Participate actively in R&D for new products and integration methods. • Use appropriate tools and equipment efficiently and safely. • Prepare and submit handover documentation and as-built drawings. • Provide basic training and technical support to client’s post-installation. • Maintain on-site discipline, safety, and professionalism always. Required Skills & Competencies: • Basic knowledge of electrical, electronics, and networking systems. • Familiarity with home automation platforms (KNX, DALI, Zigbee, Z-Wave, etc.) is a plus. • Ability to understand and implement system schematics and wiring diagrams. • Comfortable using tools, testers, and software related to smart systems. • Strong computer skills and understanding of software tools used in automation. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. • Problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn on the job. Qualifications: • B.Tech or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related discipline. • 2–5 years of relevant work experience in system integration or automation
