Automation QA Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Automation QA Engineer to take ownership of our test automation framework and strategy. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and executing automated tests for web, mobile, and APIs, and a solid understanding of modern CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for:
• UI Testing (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
• API Testing (REST Assured, Postman, Karate)
• Mobile Testing (Appium, BrowserStack)
• Performance - Load testing
• Create robust, reusable, and scalable automated test scripts.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Execute and analyze test results, log defects, and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to increase test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews of automation scripts.
• Analyze test failures and root cause issues in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Track automation metrics and continuously improve framework performance and coverage.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in automation testing.
• Proficiency with tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Experience in API automation using REST Assured, Postman/Newman, or Karate.
• Strong knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git, Jenkins, etc.).
• Familiarity with Docker, cloud-based testing platforms (Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).
• Solid understanding of Agile testing methodologies.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
