Automation - IT Support Engineer

As an Automation IT Specialist at the company, your role will involve configuring and developing application software while also having a solid understanding of IT hardware, networking, and DevOps practices. This position is ideal for individuals enthusiastic about bridging the gap between software development and IT infrastructure to support innovative automation projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - **IT Hardware and Networking:** - Provide technical support to ensure the smooth operation of IT hardware and network infrastructure. - Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues to minimize downtime. - Assist in configuring and maintaining servers, workstations, and network devices. - **DevOps Implementation and Management:** - Lead the implementation of DevOps practices for version control and source code management. - Manage Git repositories and enforce best practices for branching, merging, and version tracking. - Automate workflows to improve software deployment and delivery processes. - **Collaboration and Training:** - Collaborate with Programmers, IT teams, and stakeholders to streamline the timeline from Software Development to Commissioning. - Provide training and guidance on Git and DevOps tools to team members as required. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (CS) or IT. - Certification in Computer Hardware, Networking, and Information Technology. - Experience in the Industrial Automation Domain is preferred.
