Job Description

QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using
Python (Robot Framework)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an
Agile/SCRUM
environment to define testing strategies and acceptance criteria
Implement and maintain automation frameworks for
UI and functional testing
Troubleshoot issues in the system under test and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
Identify and define edge cases, boundary conditions, and negative test scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage
Maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test results
Continuously improve test processes and contribute to the overall quality strategy

Required Skills:

Primary:

6+ years of hands-on experience in
Python
with automation frameworks, preferably
Robot Framework
Working knowledge of
Selenium
is an added advantage
Strong understanding of software testing principles, practices, and methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience in working within
Agile/SCRUM
teams

Secondary:

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git)
Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
