Job description for Sr.Automation Engineer/ PLC Programmer

Experience : 5+ Years
Key Skills
The candidate should have extensive hands-on working experience with

· Siemens / Rockwell/Mitsubishi PLC programming ( TIA portal , WINCC, RS Logix 5000 , Studio 5000, Factory talk View, GX Works 2 & 3, GT Designer)

· Configuration of electrical drives and other field devices.

· Communications protocols like Profinet, Profibus ,Modbus, OPC UA, CC Link, Device net.

· Experience of working at sites for commissioning of machines is necessary.

· Knowledge of Robot programming would be an added advantage. (Fanuc/Kuka/ ABB/Yaskawa/Panasonic)

You must be comfortable working as part of a team while taking the initiative to take lead on innovations and projects.
Job involves software development for new projects as well as commissioning at site in India.

Roles & Responsibilities
The role would need involvement throughout the entire project life cycle.

· Understanding the customer requirement

· Develop control system architecture for PLC and HMI systems and select appropriate hardware.

· Develop and troubleshoot PLC/HMI programs in AB, Rockwell Studio 5000 (Control Logix, Guard Logix & RS View), Siemens TIA Portal, Simatic Manager, Mitsubishi ( GX Works & GT Designer).

· PLC Programming (Ladder, SCL & STL).

· Integration of PLC with Robot controller.

· Familiar with problem solving methodology.

· Any Design experience will be value added.

· Perform other duties as assigned.
