Automation Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Python and CAPL Automation Engineer – lignthing system washing system ( windshield wiper...) vision system (mirror...) access system and implement automated test solutions . The candidate will be responsible for understanding test cases and developing test scripts, and ensuring the efficiency of the system validation processes. This role involves working closely with system engineers, software developers, and validation teams to streamline testing and improve coverage. Responsibilities Develop and maintainAutoamtion testscriptfor Visibility system using python and CAPL. Automate test execution forHIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) environments. Implementdata-driven and keyword-driven automation techniquesfor scalable testing. WritePython scripts and CAPL scriptto automatetest case execution. Work withsimulation tools (CarMaker, PreScan, VTD, dSPACE)to validate features in HIL. Performreal-time debugging and issue trackingfor ADAS automation workflows. Work withCI/CD pipelines (Codebeamer, GitLab CI)to integrate automated tests into the development cycle Improve test execution efficiency by optimizing Python scripts and CAPL scripts and automation workflows. Enhance system performance by reducing manual efforts throughintelligent automation techniques. Contribute to test coverage expansion byautomating edge-case scenarios Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields Essential Skills Proficiency in GitLab, Python, and CAPL Experience with Codebeamer Knowledge of HLK and shared steps , as well as the ability to convert them into LLK Experience 2 - 6 years of Python and CAPL based automation testing and validation in HIL Show more Show less
