Automation and Manual Tester

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for both manual and automated testing.
• Analyze requirements and specifications to create detailed and comprehensive test plans.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure software quality.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues and improve software performance.
• Validate bug fixes and ensure smooth software releases.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure compatibility.
• Prepare detailed test reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Ensure all testing activities align with project timelines and quality standards.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of software testing concepts – SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
• Experience in manual testing – writing test cases, test scenarios, and executing test plans.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools – Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.) for automation.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git or GitHub.
• Understanding of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries for backend validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills for coordination with developers and QA leads.
• Ability to work efficiently during day shifts and manage multiple test cycles.
