Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD / SolidWorks Draughtsman cum Estimation Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed 2D/3D drawings, technical documentation, and accurate cost estimations for manufacturing and project proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D design drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Create fabrication, assembly, and layout drawings as per project requirements.
• Interpret technical specifications, sketches, and design inputs to produce accurate drawings.
• Assist in material take-offs, quantity estimation, and costing of components/projects.
• Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy.
• Update and maintain drawing records and revision control.
• Support project engineers during design reviews and modifications.
• Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), cost breakdowns, and technical documentation for tenders or client submissions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and company design practices.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing or project execution when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Draughtsman / Design Engineer in a mechanical, fabrication, or industrial environment.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and material specifications.
• Experience in estimation, costing, and BOQ preparation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in sheet metal, fabrication, machinery, HVAC, or structural design.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and costing methods.
• Familiarity with ERP systems or estimation software (added advantage).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
