AutoCAD Draughtsman

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman to join our dynamic team at Interio interiors, a leading interior designing firm specializing in residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans for interior design projects. You will collaborate closely with the design team and other stakeholders to transform conceptual designs into executable construction documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting & Detailing:
• Create precise and accurate AutoCAD drawings based on design concepts, sketches, and specifications provided by senior designers.
• Prepare detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and other technical drawings required for project execution.
• Develop accurate and clear layouts for furniture, fixtures, lighting, and other interior elements.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to project standards, regulations, and client requirements.

Coordination with Design Team:

• Work closely with interior designers, architects, and engineers to ensure that all drawings reflect the design intent.
• Attend project meetings to understand updates, modifications, and ensure the accuracy of drawings.
• Revise drawings as per feedback and ensure timely delivery of updated plans.

Project Support:

• Provide design support during all project phases, from initial design concepts to project completion.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files and project documentation.
• Ensure all drawings are compatible with building codes and construction requirements.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 0-3years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman in interior design, architecture, or construction industry.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D).
• Knowledge of interior design terminology, construction details, and building codes.
• Familiarity with other design software such as Revit, SketchUp, and Photoshop is a plus.
• Attention to Detail: Strong ability to work with precision and focus on the finer details of design drawings.
• Communication: Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with design teams, clients, and contractors.
• Time Management: Capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
