AutoCAD Developer (Freelance / Part-Time)

• Proven experience

   developing custom solutions for AutoCAD, including plug-ins, scripts, and automation tools.

• Strong programming skills

   in one or more of the following: AutoLISP, .NET (C# or VB.NET), VBA, or ObjectARX/C++.
• Experience with AutoCAD APIs (e.g., AutoCAD .NET API, COM API, or ObjectARX).
• Ability to design, develop, test, and deploy custom AutoCAD extensions or add-ons.
• Familiarity with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and work item tracking; experience with 

  Azure DevOps

   is a plus.
• Solid understanding of software development best practices, debugging, and version compatibility for AutoCAD releases.
• Strong 

  problem-solving skills

   and the ability to deliver clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom AutoCAD applications, plug-ins, or macros based on project requirements.
• Automate repetitive tasks and workflows within AutoCAD to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with other developers, CAD designers, or project managers as needed.
• Ensure developed tools are compatible with specified AutoCAD versions and meet performance standards.
• Use version control and participate in code reviews where applicable.
