AutoCAD Designer

Job Description

Position: AutoCAD Executive Key Responsibilities: Drafting & Designing: Create detailed AutoCAD drawings for high-rise building projects, including architectural, structural, and interior designs. Prepare layouts, plans, and blueprints as per project specifications and requirements. Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs adhere to GDCR (General Development Control Regulations) and other relevant building codes. Coordinate with internal teams to integrate project designs with regulatory requirements. Coordination & Communication: Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to finalize designs. Modify drawings based on feedback from consultants and stakeholders. Project Support: Assist in the preparation of BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and tender documents based on drawings. Maintain an organized database of all drawings and revisions. Key Requirements: Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and related drafting software. Sound knowledge of GDCR guidelines and high-rise building construction standards. Educational Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in drafting for high-rise buildings. Familiarity with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) coordination is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
