AutoCAD Designer

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Designer with experience in preparing shop drawings and “to-go” drawings for building elevations and façade works. The ideal candidate should have strong technical drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate design concepts and site measurements into precise drawings for fabrication and installation. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and “to-go” drawings for façade and elevation works (HPL, WPC, ACP cladding, glazing, MS & aluminum works, etc.). Develop accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings from architectural, structural, and consultant drawings. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure drawings reflect site conditions and project requirements. Update and revise drawings based on client/consultant comments and site variations. Maintain proper drawing documentation and version control for each project. Ensure all drawings comply with company drafting standards and client specifications. Assist in preparing BOQ take-offs and material requirements from drawings. Provide drawing support during project execution to resolve site queries. Qualifications & Skills:Diploma / Degree in Civil, Architecture, or relevant field. Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D mandatory; 3D knowledge is an added advantage). 2–4 years of experience in façade / building elevation works preferred. Strong knowledge of cladding, glazing, and façade systems. Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Good understanding of construction detailing and site practices. Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines. Strong communication and coordination skills. Preferred Attributes: Prior experience in façade contracting or similar industry. Knowledge of CNC cutting drawings and material optimization is a plus. Willingness to visit sites for measurements and coordination when required.
