AutoCAD Designer

Job Summary: Apantec India Corporation is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer to join our engineering and design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, layouts, and documentation for electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international project standards. Key Responsibilities: Create and modify detailed 2D drawings and schematics using AutoCAD based on engineering specifications and technical data. Prepare electrical panel drawings, wiring diagrams, cable routing, and enclosure layouts. Work on mechanical layout drawings for cabinets, control panels, and equipment. Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes efficiently. Generate BOMs (Bill of Materials) and documentation packages for manufacturing or export. Maintain drawing revision logs and support version control across projects. Ensure adherence to company and client-specific drawing standards and formatting. Assist in preparing documentation required for import/export technical support, if applicable.   Required Skills and Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Drafting or related field. 2–5 years of experience in AutoCAD-based design work. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D; knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks is a plus. Understanding of electromechanical assemblies, wiring standards, and industrial control systems is preferred. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.   Preferred Skills: Experience in engineering projects related to nuclear, power, or industrial automation is a plus. Exposure to international drawing standards (e.g., ANSI, IEC, IEEE). Knowledge of cable lists, harness routing, and manufacturing documentation.   Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: Commensurate with experience Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
