Auditor - Real Estate Background

As an Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with financial and operational procedures by conducting internal audits across departments. Your responsibilities will include: - Reviewing and analyzing accounting records, reports, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Assessing risk management processes, internal control systems, and governance frameworks. - Identifying control weaknesses, recommending improvements, and ensuring their implementation. - Ensuring compliance with statutory laws, regulations, and internal policies. - Preparing detailed audit reports with findings, observations, and actionable recommendations. - Collaborating with external auditors during statutory audits and assisting in audit documentation. - Conducting surprise audits and spot checks as required. - Collaborating with the finance and compliance teams to enhance audit procedures and controls. - Monitoring corrective actions taken by departments in response to audit findings. Preferred Candidate Profile: Candidates with experience and background in the Real Estate sector will be given preference. Prior exposure to real estate in Auditor role. Qualifications Required: - Education: M.Com (Master of Commerce) / ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) - Experience: At least 2 years in auditing or a similar finance role (internal or external audit) - Knowledge: Good understanding of auditing standards, internal controls, risk management, and accounting principles (GAAP / IFRS) - Proficiency in Tally, ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software - Excellent communication skills and ability to work confidently in a team.
