Audit Manager I - C13 - MUMBAI

The Audit Manager role at Citigroup involves conducting moderately complex audits related to Markets products and evaluating the risk and control environments within the organization. Collaborating with the Audit team, your primary objective will be to use your expertise to ensure compliance with audit standards and regulations, as well as to work with business leaders to address emerging issues effectively. Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering audit reports in a timely manner, adhering to Internal Audit and Regulatory standards. You will review and approve the Business Monitoring Quarterly summary, act as the lead reviewer for all reviews, and collaborate with various business teams to assess the impact on the overall control environment and audit approach. Additionally, you will manage audit activities for a specific product line, function, or legal entity at the regional or country level, utilizing your comprehensive expertise to lead a team effectively. As part of your role, you will advise the business on change initiatives, promote integrated auditing concepts and technology adoption, and recommend interventions and solutions for risk and control issues. Working closely with Directors and Managing Directors, you will develop approaches for addressing broader corporate challenges while applying a deep understanding of Internal Audit standards, policies, and regulations to your specific area of focus. To qualify for this position, you should have 6-10 years of relevant experience and preferably hold certifications such as CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA, or similar. Effective communication, negotiation, project management, influencing, and relationship management skills are essential. You must also demonstrate the ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment. A Bachelor's/University degree is required for this role, with a Master's degree being preferred.
