Audit & Attestation Specialist

As an Audit & Attestation Specialist at KCJM, located in Ahmedabad, you will play a crucial role in the Domestic Business Services department. KCJM is an ICAI registered Partnership Firm of Chartered Accountants with over 20 years of experience in the profession, offering a work-life balance, corporate culture, decentralisation of authority, and work independence. **Responsibilities:** - Preparation of audit plans and programs. - Professionally manage various audit projects including Statutory Audit under the Companies Act, Internal Audit, Management Audit, and Tax Audits. - Make recommendations on policies and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. - Build and maintain relationships with clients to provide expert consulting services. - Develop and manage audit processes following ICAI SQC 1 and other applicable Audit Standards. - Assess the applicability and implementation of accounting standards (AS / Ind AS). - Enhance processes by implementing best practices. - Stay updated with changes in regulations and prepare brief notes on their impact on businesses. - Evaluate the implementation and effectiveness of internal control processes. - Conduct client interviews to develop process documentation. - Prepare audit working papers including permanent and annual files. - Manage Peer Review processes. **Eligibility & Requirements:** - Chartered Accountant (fresher or experienced) with extensive audit experience during internship or employment. - Excellent knowledge of Accounting and Audit Standards. - Expertise in local GAAP with the ability to interpret acts and rules. - Committed to meeting deadlines and problem-solving. - Provide exceptional client service while maintaining independence. - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. - Possess excellent soft skills.
