Asterisk Engineer (2–3 Years Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Asterisk Engineer for a long-term, full-time / FTE-based engagement. We are looking for a professional who can take ownership of our telephony systems, ensure stability in production environments, and grow with the organization.

Our platform operates at the intersection of Asterisk, SIP telephony, and voice automation, supporting high-availability calling systems and AI-powered voice workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and support Asterisk-based telephony systems
• Manage SIP trunks, PJSIP, RTP, and call routing logic
• Develop and maintain integrations using AGI, AMI, and ARI
• Diagnose and resolve call quality, latency, and connectivity issues
• Monitor system health and optimize performance and reliability
• Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams on system enhancements and integrations
• Ensure stability and uptime in production telephony environments

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Asterisk
• Strong understanding of PJSIP, SIP signaling, and RTP
• Practical experience with AGI, AMI, and ARI
• Proven troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Experience supporting live/production telephony systems
• Self-motivated, accountable, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working remotely or on-site
• Seeking a long-term, stable role
