Asst Restaurant Manager

You will be responsible for assisting in the daily supervision of restaurant operations, menu planning, and maintaining sanitation standards. You will also assist servers and hosts during peak meal periods to ensure guest and employee satisfaction. Additionally, you will determine training needs and implement training plans to accomplish goals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Handle employee questions and concerns - Monitor employees to ensure performance expectations are met - Provide feedback to employees based on service behaviors - Supervise daily shift operations - Ensure compliance with restaurant policies, standards, and procedures - Monitor alcohol beverage service in compliance with local laws - Manage to achieve budgeted goals - Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels - Encourage employees to provide excellent customer service - Handle guest problems and complaints, seeking assistance from a supervisor as necessary - Supervise on-going training initiatives - Coach and counsel employees regarding performance on an on-going basis **Qualifications Required:** - High school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area - OR 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years of experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area At Marriott International, we are committed to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming all and providing access to opportunity.
