Job Description

Purpose of the Role:

The job entails developing/generating business for commodity chemical products by planning and implementing/executing strategies for growth through the product lines of leading principals we represent to achieve the division’s targets.

 

  • Responsible for meeting the top -linevolume and value targets for the Rregions/productsallotted for the financial year in line with Commodity Chemicals Business’s growth plan and strategy.
  • Develop, plan, and implement suitable sales strategies for new customer acquisition.
  • Develop, plan, and implement sales strategies for achieving maximum sales potential from the existing customers.
  • Ensure regional expansion to increase reach and distribution in line with the Commodity Chemicals Business strategy.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and ensure their effective implementation.
  • Develop new key accounts and ensure sustainable growth & profitability of these accounts as per the annual target.
  • Carry out product gap analysis for existing industries we cater to on an ongoing basis and provide input to HOD.
  • Develop proper market intelligence and carry out competitor analysis to identify and develop Ankush’s unique selling propositions and differentiators for our product basket.
  • Ensure regular monitoring of collection to ensure no overdueas per the agreed norms.
  • Coordinate with the customer services team/warehouse for all dispatch-related matters. Should visit the warehouse every month to physically check stock positions and product quality—shelf-life-related aspects—to ensure there is no dead stock at any point in time.
  • Ensure 12-15 days of customer visits in a planned manner, covering all key customers in allotted regions.
  • Participate in all sales review meetings as per plan.
  • Actively participate in all trade shows/exhibitions to promote our products, generate new business leads and track monitor sales level progress


Skills Set/Area of Expertise:


  • Hands-on experience in Commodity chemicals with trader & exposure of handling products like PVA, Acrylates & Monomers, Epoxy Resin, ethyleneimine, etc.

  • Possess good communication & strategic prospecting skills.
  • Sound analytical & problem-solving skills, good negotiation skills & growth mindset.
