Asst. Manager- Purchase

As the Lead of Purchase team, your primary responsibilities include: - Leading the Purchase team to ensure smooth departmental functioning - Monitoring the process of new components enquiries from customers and submitting CWS to planning department - Handling RMC submission against Pump enquiries and costing of B/O parts - Studying technical specifications from Pump customers and arranging compliance from suppliers - Maintaining a standard price list of B/O parts for Pump enquiries - Monitoring the process from receipt of PR until material receipt at the factory - Following up with suppliers for timely material delivery - Conducting timely supplier visits and supplier assessment audits in coordination with the QA team - Coordinating with Planning and QA teams regarding delivery and quality issues of Raw material - Timely submission of MIS to management - Developing new components and new suppliers - Monitoring the Purchase process of consumables and other materials - Monitoring tooling trials of consumable materials - Ensuring cost savings in all Raw Material except castings - Monitoring Raw Material prices in the market - Ensuring all Purchase activities are in line with ISO requirements - Facing internal and external ISO audits Your secondary responsibilities involve: - Coordinating with all users for the smooth functioning of the EDS system - Providing solutions to user problems as required - Ensuring correct system adherence and no deviations are entertained - Submitting Inventory through EDS to the finance department - Resolving queries by the finance department regarding inventory - Supporting the implementation of Q1 - Releasing SO and PO in Q1 - Coordinating with KUB Sales, Planning, and Design team for technical requirements - Supporting the release of Work plan, Production booking, and invoice in Q1 - Coordinating with the KUB IT team for IT-related issues - Assisting the IT department with technical and commercial matters when required Additionally, your knowledge and abilities should cover: - Manufacturing processes of Casting and Forging - Quality requirements of customers - Pump Assembly and Testing - Technical knowledge of Motor, Coupling, Pr. Transmitters, PT-100, and other accessories Soft Skills & Proficiency Level: - Leadership: Intermediate - Team Management: Intermediate - Technical Competency: Intermediate - Decision Making: Advanced - Critical Thinking & Problem-solving: Intermediate Experience Required: 7 to 8 years This is a full-time position that requires in-person work.
