Asst. Manager-Business Development ( LATAM & Africa )

Role & responsibilities:

• To explore the market, identify customers, deal with launch/promotion of the products through individual detailing, audio-visual presentations/workshops and manage the local sales team & marketing for our brands being deputed in the assigned country
• Conducting market research, business planning, analyzing financial/business data and collecting qualitative and quantitative inputs for company's strategic and competitive analysis
• To understand and monitor the registration guidelines & processes and to obtain the registration of the products for the assigned country
• To work closely with HO based regulatory team on the various regulatory scenarios and product registrations for the assigned country
• To identify and finalize the agreements with appropriate business partners in the assigned country
• To co-ordinate with the customers, including distributors, tender authorities, and other related government officials
• To coordinate with HO based various teams/departments for product manufacturing, supply and ensuring timely dispatch/ availability to assigned territory
• To monitor product availability at the distribution end and local distributor network (channel partners) and to improve product-wise sales using own resources/contacts
• To monitor the expenses being incurred under each head and to ensure that the total expenses are well within budget, while analyzing the reasons for variance, if any

Preferred candidate profile:

• Having 5-8 years of exposure in business developmental activities for international markets
• Willingness to travel at international locations/work in different time zones
• Team player with good communications and e-mail writing skills
• Proficient in Excel, word, including pivot tables
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail with accuracy
• Takes ownership for project deliverables
• Ability to work independently and effectively within deadlines
