Job Description

You are a highly motivated, experienced, and detail-oriented Assistant Manager in Business Development & Events, eager to join our Strategy & Brand Team. Your role will involve planning and executing strategic business development events for a media house, event organization platform, or professional services organization. You will engage with key CXOs and stakeholders, conduct event-related research and recording, manage vendors, track data for BD and CRM, and support other BD initiatives. Your responsibilities will include managing and engaging with CXO communities, independently managing events, demonstrating strong project management skills, utilizing CRM for events led sales funnel, and maintaining a keen attention to detail. Your strong research capabilities will be essential in identifying events, topic ideas, and stakeholders, while your excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities will be crucial in your role. Key Responsibilities: 1. Event Planning & Execution: You will plan and execute various thought leadership roundtables, client meets, large-format events, and forums. Additionally, you will research, track, and curate important opportunities for participation in events in India and globally. 2. Stakeholder & Vendor Management: You will build a database of vendors and venues, liaise with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and partners to ensure seamless event execution. 3. On-Site Event Management: Your role will involve coordinating on-ground activities during events, overseeing logistics, guest management, branding, technical support, and vendor coordination. 4. Post-Event Analysis & Reporting: You will conduct post-event evaluations, collect feedback, analyze data, and report on key performance indicators to measure event effectiveness. Maintaining detailed documentation for continuous improvement will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Competencies: - Strategic thinker with strong project management and organizational skills. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities. - High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to manage sensitive information. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Event Management, or related field. - 4-6 years of relevant experience in B2B event management. - Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Flexibility to travel and work outside standard business hours as required by event schedules.
