Associate Vice President - SaT - CHS - TCF - Transaction Diligence -

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Associate Vice President to lead our Transaction Diligence team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in the field, with a strong background in Chartered Accountancy and excellent analytical skills. ### Roles and Responsibility Analyze historic and current financial information to identify trends and areas for improvement. Develop and maintain complex financial models to support transaction diligence efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of transactions. Identify and assess deal issues, providing recommendations on mitigation strategies. Conduct thorough analysis of transaction risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Provide expert advice on structuring issues and transaction structure. Understand business performance measures such as margins, EBITDA, and working capital required for FDD, and provide adequate reasons for movements and changes in contribution margins. Demonstrate strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze projections and assumptions. Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas. Manage projects and demonstrate project management/time management skills. Lead staff and exhibit leadership abilities. Show high initiative and drive, with the ability to handle pressure maturely. ### Job Requirements Chartered Accountant with a good academic background and 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience. Proven experience in Financial Due Diligence (FDD) as part of an M&A team in industry or Big 3 CA firms, or within audit and assurance practices of Big 4 CA firms. Strong understanding of business performance measures and financial modeling techniques. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively across multiple client departments while adhering to commercial and legal requirements. Practical approach to solving complex problems, delivering insightful and practical solutions. Agile, curious, mindful, positive energy, adaptable, and creative approach to work.
