Job Description

Advising clients on matters relating to Direct and Indirect Taxation (Income Tax, GST, Customs, etc.);
Providing legal counsel on tax disputes, compliance issues, and regulatory proceedings;
Drafting appeals, replies, petitions, applications, rejoinders, legal advisories, memos, and other court documents;
Managing extensive case documentation with a professional approach, and adapting quickly to digital tools such as Zoho and Microsoft Teams;
Supporting clients through litigation, investigations, quasi-judicial proceedings, and general tax advisory matters;
Conducting legal research and handling filings before tax authorities and tribunals in coordination with clerks and support staff;
Contributing to the firmknowledge database through case law compilations, statute summaries, white papers, etc.
Requirements

Must be a qualified Advocate (LL.B.), enrolled with the Bar Council of India. Qualified Chartered Accountant.

1-3 years of PQE.
An idealcandidate would demonstrate:
A strong passion for learning and building expertise in taxation laws;
A knowledge-driven and analytical approach;
Effective communication and drafting skills;
A sound ethical mindset;
The ability to work calmly under pressure, adapt to dynamic situations, and respond with a problem-solving approach.
