Associate, Specialist, Business Audit, CBG

Role Overview: As a member of the Group Audit team at DBS Group, you will be responsible for conducting independent checks to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of the Group's risk and control processes. Your role will involve serving as a trusted advisor to clients on internal controls matters, focusing on a portfolio that includes Treasury & Markets business audit coverage, Risk function, Control Functions, and other support functions. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct end-to-end audits within the specified audit portfolio. - Plan and coordinate audits, ensuring timely reporting. - Evaluate processes and controls, design appropriate tests, and determine the level of testing required. - Timely escalation of issues with clear and concise audit findings and reports. - Stay updated on regulatory, industry, and business process changes through continuous monitoring. - Develop reusable data analytics solutions for Internal Audit and other business partners. Qualifications: - Bachelor's/University degree in Banking/Finance Management or related discipline; Master's degree preferred. - Chartered Accountant and related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, FRM or similar) preferred. - 4+ years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, preferably in Treasury & Markets and Risk Functions audits. In this role, you should possess the following skills and requirements: - Ability to prioritize effectively and determine suitable solutions based on organizational needs. - Efficient task management to meet required timelines. - Establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and teammates. - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Proficiency in data management, logical thinking, and problem-solving. - Thorough knowledge of banking principles, procedures, regulations, and policies. - Subject matter expertise in Treasury, Markets, Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, and Capital Adequacy (ICAAP) is preferable.,
