Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Assist in monitoring and analyzing security alerts from various sources (SIEM, endpoint, firewall logs, etc.)
Support vulnerability scanning, assessment, and remediation activities.
Participate in incident response activities under senior guidance.
Help document security incidents, root causes, and resolutions.
Research emerging security threats and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with development, IT, and DevOps teams to promote secure coding and deployment practices.
Assist in maintaining compliance with internal policies and industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.)

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (2025 pass-outs) with 60% or above throughout academics.
Strong foundational understanding of computer networks, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and security concepts.
Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, Nessus, Burp Suite, Nmap, or similar is a plus.
Basic knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, authentication, and encryption protocols.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and documentation skills
