Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Ernakulam for an Associate Professor. The Associate Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, developing and delivering lectures, grading assignments, and providing academic advising to students. Day-to-day tasks include conducting research, publishing research findings, participating in curriculum development, and collaborating with colleagues on various projects. The role also requires involvement in departmental meetings and committees to contribute to the academic environment at TIST.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in subject-specific knowledge and concepts
• Proven ability to conduct and publish research
• Excellent teaching, mentoring, and communication skills
• Experience in curriculum development and academic advising
• Ph.D. in the relevant field of study
• Experience in higher education institutions will be beneficial
• Commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment
• Ability to contribute to the academic community through service and leadership
