Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Professor at SPIHER, located in Chennai. The Associate Professor will be responsible for delivering lectures, managing classroom activities, and assessing student performance. Additionally, the role includes mentoring students, guiding research projects, and contributing to curriculum development. The Associate Professor is expected to participate in academic committee meetings and contribute to the institution’s ongoing research and development initiatives. The role also involves staying updated on the latest developments in the respective academic field and integrating innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications

• Expertise in subject matter, with strong background in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Management Studies, Science, or Humanities
• Experience in lecturing, curriculum development, and student assessment
• Proven research capabilities and experience guiding student research projects
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ph.D. in relevant field is preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in academic committees
• Commitment to staying updated on advancements in the respective fields
• Experience in applying innovative teaching methods and technology in the classroom
