Associate Professor - Finance

Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished and experienced Associate Professor in Finance to strengthen our Business School’s academic and research ecosystem. The candidate should demonstrate leadership in teaching, research, and academic administration, with a proven record of scholarly contributions.

Key Responsibilities

● Teach and lead undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive programs in Finance.

● Supervise doctoral and postgraduate research scholars.

● Publish consistently in Scopus/ABDC indexed journals.

● Lead curriculum development, integrating emerging areas like FinTech, Sustainable Finance, AI in Finance, and Financial Analytics.

● Establish linkages with industry, regulators, and professional bodies (e.g., CFA Institute, ICAI, NISM).

● Mentor junior faculty and contribute to faculty development initiatives.

● Take leadership roles in accreditation, rankings, and program design.

● Contribute actively to conferences, workshops, seminars, and community outreach.

Qualifications

● Ph.D. in Finance/Management/Commerce/Economics from a reputed institution.

● Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience at university/college level, including at least 3 years at Assistant Professor level.

● Strong research profile with peer-reviewed journal publications (Scopus/ABDC listed preferred).

● Demonstrated ability to attract research grants or consultancy projects (desirable).

Desired Skills & Competencies

● Strong academic leadership and ability to mentor junior faculty.

● Proven expertise in core Finance domains (Corporate Finance, Investments, Risk, Banking) with exposure to new-age areas (FinTech, Analytics, AI/ML in Finance).

● Strong network with academia, industry, and regulatory bodies.

● Ability to contribute to institutional growth, branding, and rankings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
