Assistant Professor - Finance

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Professor in Finance to join our Business School. The candidate should have a strong academic background, a passion for teaching, and an interest in contributing to research, curriculum development, and student engagement.

Key Responsibilities

● Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Finance (e.g., Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, Investment Analysis, Risk Management).

● Guide students in projects, internships, and dissertations.

● Engage in high-quality research and publish in reputed academic journals.

● Develop innovative teaching methods, including case studies, simulations, and industry-linked pedagogy.

● Contribute to curriculum design and updates to ensure industry relevance.

● Participate in departmental and university-level academic and administrative activities.

● Mentor students for career development, certifications, and competitive examinations.

Qualifications

● Ph.D. (or submitted thesis) in Finance/Management/Commerce/Economics from a recognized institution.

● Master’s degree (MBA/M.Com/related field) with specialization in Finance from a reputed university.

● Strong academic record throughout.

● Evidence of research publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals (desirable but not mandatory for entry-level).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
