Job Description

Position:

  • Deliver engaging and conceptual lectures, tutorials, and seminars for BBA students across various core and elective management subjects (e.g., Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations, Business Law, Entrepreneurship).
  • Lead the development of contemporary and industry-relevant BBA curriculum, incorporating case studies, simulations, and experiential learning methods.
  • Mentor and guide undergraduate student projects, dissertations, and internships.
  • Foster an effective learning environment and adopt innovative teaching methodologies

2. Research Leadership and Publication

  • Maintain an active and robust research agenda, leading to the publication of high-quality research papers in

    UGC-CARE/Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals

    .
  • Guide Ph.D. scholars (if recognized as a Ph.D. Supervisor) and mentor Assistant Professors in their research endeavors.
  • Secure and execute sponsored research projects, grants, and consultancy assignments.
  • Act as a reviewer or editor for academic journals or conference proceedings.

3. Institutional Development and Administration

  • Take on leadership roles such as Department Head, Coordinator, or Chairperson of key institutional committees (e.g., Curriculum Review, Examination, Anti-Ragging).
  • Drive quality initiatives like

    NBA/NAAC accreditation

    and compliance with regulatory bodies.
  • Establish strong industry linkages for collaborative research, student training, and placements.
  • Participate actively in faculty recruitment, mentoring, and professional development programs.

Eligibility Criteria (As per AICTE/UGC Regulations)

  • Ph.D. degree

    in the relevant/allied discipline(s) is

    mandatory

  • Master's Degree

    (MBA/PGDM/M.Com./etc.) in a relevant management discipline with

    First Class

    or equivalent (minimum 60%) at the Masters level.
  • Consistently good academic record throughout.

2. Experience

  • Minimum of

    eight (8) years of experience

    in teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College, or Accredited Research Institution

    OR

    Eight (8) years of relevant industry experience in a senior managerial or equivalent position, combined with academic qualifications, with at least 3 years post-Ph.D..

3. Research & Publications

  • Research publications

    in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals &

    Research projects

    undertaken or completed or guided must be as per the criteria mentioned in the relevant UGC/AICTE regulations.
  • The total research score must be as per the criteria mentioned in the relevant UGC/AICTE regulations.

Desirable Skills and Attributes

  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Expertise in curriculum design for undergraduate management programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate in teaching, including using blended learning and educational technology.
  • Strong network within the corporate sector and academic community.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
