Job Summary:

The Associate Product Manager will conduct primary and secondary market research, prepare presentations on the EdTech industry, write user stories, track backlogs, and collaborate with design and engineering teams. This role involves surveying customer preferences and statistical data to help shape, advertise, design, price, and market products and services. The role also includes conducting user testing of prototypes with customers, collating feedback for product strategy, and conducting market visits to meet existing and prospective customers for product feedback. The analyst should be able to autonomously analyse qualitative and quantitative data, trends, strategies, and competition to increase competitiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Collect information from end-users in the education ecosystem, competitors, competitive products, and the marketplace, consolidating it into actionable items, reports, and presentations.
• Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective customers preferences.
• Compile and analyse statistical data using modern and traditional methods, performing valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis.
• Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings; identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales, and methods of operation.
• Work on complicated modelling using Excel, Pivot, V-lookup, H-lookup, data analysis, and secondary research.
• Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties' research, and implement best practices.
• Create user stories for multiple products.
• Work with design and engineering teams.
• Conduct market visits to meet existing and prospective customers to get product feedback.

Preferred Profile:

Absolute Strengths:

• Proven market research analysis experience
• Excellent spoken, reading, and writing skills – English.
• Excellent knowledge of Jira, Figma, MS Excel, statistics, databases, and MS Office.
• Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc.).
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools and their application in market research and content generation (e.g., using AI for sentiment analysis of customer feedback, generating initial drafts of user stories, or creating market trend summaries).
• Understanding of prompt engineering principles for effective interaction with AI models.
• Ability to leverage AI-powered analytics tools to identify patterns and insights from large datasets more efficiently.

Beneficial Strengths:

• Working knowledge of data warehousing, modelling, and mining.
• Experience in evaluating and integrating AI-driven features into product roadmaps.

Experience (Industry Type & Duration):

• Essential: 1-3 Years’ experience in Market Research and Data Analysis in an EdTech company.
• Work Duration: Full Time.
