Job Description: As an Associate in our Statutory Audit team in Delhi, your role will involve supporting the audit team in performing statutory audits and reporting to the Manager or Director. You will interact with clients and execute statutory audit engagements in compliance with auditing and accounting standards as per the audit plan. It is essential to ensure that financial statements are prepared in accordance with accounting standards, review internal control systems, and conduct audits following the firm's prescribed methodology. Additionally, you will be responsible for proper documentation and reviewing the working papers of the audit team to ensure compliance with firm requirements. Timely delivery is crucial while maintaining positive relationships with clients and team members. Continuous learning, development, active participation in team building, and networking activities are also expected. Key Responsibilities: - Support the audit team in performing statutory audits and reporting to the Manager or Director. - Interact with clients and execute statutory audit engagements following auditing and accounting standards. - Ensure preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and review internal control systems. - Perform audits as per the firm's prescribed methodology. - Maintain proper documentation and review working papers to ensure compliance with firm requirements. - Ensure adherence to timelines while fostering smooth client and team relations. - Actively participate in team building and networking activities. Qualifications Required: - Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant. - Minimum 1 year of experience in handling statutory audits, preferably in Hotels and Airlines. - Proficiency in using open source Chatbots across the work-lifecycle. - Reasonable technical knowledge to handle statutory audits independently. - Good documentation skills. - Strong communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English. - Proficiency in Microsoft applications like Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and willingness to learn new software. - Sincere, team-oriented, and eager to learn attitude. - Adherence to highest professional and ethical standards. - Willingness to travel to client locations. - Strong work ethics in handling confidential information.
