Job Description

As an Associate Manager in Supply Chain, you will play a crucial role in overseeing production planning and material planning to ensure seamless operations, timely deliveries, and optimal inventory levels. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing production schedules, coordinating with various teams to ensure timely batch production, and optimizing capacity utilization. You will be responsible for ensuring availability of raw materials, APIs, packaging materials, and other critical inputs based on demand forecasts. Collaborating with procurement teams and suppliers, analyzing material requirements, and managing safety stock levels will be essential to prevent shortages or overstocking. Additionally, you will work closely with regulatory teams to ensure compliance with international export guidelines. Your role will involve developing and maintaining supply chain KPIs, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to enhance efficiency, and managing relationships with third-party logistics and distribution partners for timely exports. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and international pharmaceutical regulations will be crucial in your day-to-day operations. Utilizing tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Macros, and Power BI, you will be expected to analyze supply chain data, generate actionable insights, develop dashboards for real-time monitoring, and prepare presentations and reports for management on supply chain performance and improvement strategies. To excel in this role, you should have strong experience in production and material planning in the pharmaceutical industry, proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI, knowledge of ERP/SAP systems, and strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, procurement, quality, and regulatory teams, familiarity with global supply chain best practices, and export regulations will also be essential. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related fields, along with 6-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain, production planning, and material management. Experience in an export-oriented pharmaceutical organization, hands-on experience with SAP, Power BI, and automation tools will be preferred and considered as an added advantage.,
