Job Description

As an individual responsible for facilitating the account opening process for clients within the Markets sector at Standard Chartered Bank, your role requires a meticulous approach to compliance, attention to detail, and effective stakeholder management. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for clients while adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies. Key Responsibilities: - Support the team as a subject matter expert for complex client onboarding requests and queries - Act as support for the team manager for reporting issues and team pipeline tasks - Manage the account opening process for new and existing clients in the Markets business - Ensure accurate completion of all necessary documentation - Coordinate with internal teams for a smooth account opening process - Provide excellent customer service to stakeholders - Respond to client inquiries and resolve account opening process issues Your responsibilities also include: - Fostering and maintaining dialogue across SCB global Markets on-boarding network - Identifying opportunities for process redesign, automation, and digitalization - Undertaking Due Diligence to ensure adherence to relevant SCB policies - Supporting the Markets Onboarding Manager and internal stakeholders for regulatory onboarding matters - Managing the end-to-end process of relevant account setups and internal approvals Risk Management: - Conduct Due Diligence to capture all data for a new sub-fund opened under an existing IM Qualifications: - Strong ability to positively influence stakeholders and deliver exceptional client service - Ability to engage and build rapport with internal stakeholders - Strong written and verbal skills in English - Problem-solving skills with a drive to deliver - Ability to work independently and under pressure - Team player with good interpersonal skills Skills and Experience: - Manage Conduct, Risk, and People - Process and Operational Management - Onboarding, Credit Documentation, and Enablement - Banking experience of 10+ years About Standard Chartered: Standard Chartered is an international bank dedicated to making a positive difference for clients, communities, and employees.
