Associate Manager Cargo Pricing and Revenue Management

Job Purpose:

To contribute to the development and implementation of network planning and revenue management strategies that maximize profitability across Air India's cargo routes. Support the continuous evaluation and optimization of Air India's cargo network to align with market demands and operational capabilities.

Key Accountabilities:

• Network Strategy Development:

• Assist in designing and developing cargo network strategies that ensure efficient operations and maximize revenue generation.

• Market and Competitor Analysis:

• Analyze external market demand, assess competitor offerings, and identify potential new markets and routes to enhance the competitive network planning strategy.

• Revenue Optimization:

• Work closely with the Pricing & Revenue Management team to adjust existing routes, frequencies, and volumes based on analytical findings and market trends.

• Performance Monitoring:

• Continuously monitor and evaluate the profitability of existing routes, implementing necessary improvements and reporting on key performance indicators.

• Forecasting and Planning:

• Support the creation of tools for forecasting financial potential and growth opportunities on new routes, contributing to strategic network planning discussions.

• Regulatory Bodies:

  Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations affecting cargo pricing and network planning.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

• Experience:

• Minimum:

  3-5 years of experience in cargo operations, pricing, or revenue management within the international air cargo industry.

• Desired:

  5+ years of experience with a proven track record in strategic network planning and revenue management.
