Associate Manager - Accounting

Shift Timings- Coverage is from 8 AM to 5 PM (EST) which is 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM (IST). Day Light Savings are needed

Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Billing, Cash Management and related reporting,

operational audits, documenting and streamlining processes, and support of the overall R2R

responsibilities

What you get to do:

• Performing analytical tasks, including P&L analysis and identifying variances month over

month by reviewing the GL.

• Managing invoice processing and ensuring alignment with booked liabilities and

approvals.

• RINGS- Investigating and resolving discrepancies between invoices received and

current liabilities which often require follow-up with various international teams.

• Handling routine accounting activities such as preparing and booking journal entries
• Performing monthly reconciliations and supporting general accounting tasks.
• Intercompany transactions
• Prepare monthly analysis for client executive Report
• Participate in the validation of monthly results (GM, operational cost v/s prior month)
• Perform special analysis when needed for the director or managers
• Preparation of month-end results, analysis and reporting for various entities & branches
• Preparation of various reports according to established timelines
• Contribute to the review and monitoring of internal controls
• Prepare non- financial data for reporting

What you need to bring:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel is mandatory, capable of handling large datasets
• Strong in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Prior exposure in managing month end closing and reporting
• Expertise in account reconciliation and research on Open Items”
• Experience with JD Edwards, PeopleSoft and/or Hyperion preferred
• Ability to work independently under high pressure during the month end and quarterly

closing

• Must be a team player with ability to maintain a positive attitude in an extremely fast-

paced environment

• Ability to effectively multi-task and manage multiple projects at once
• Flexibility is needed as the candidate might need to work for extra during month end

close

• Self-starter, energetic, enthusiastic and customer service focused
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills, focus on improving processes to

eliminate waste

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and escalate trends
