Associate Lead Designer

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee design direction across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and brand identity
• Serve as the bridge between design teams, senior leadership, and clients to maintain clarity, alignment, and creative consistency
• Collaborate throughout all project phases — from discovery to delivery — translating business and user needs into impactful design solutions
• Drive user research and usability testing to inform decisions that create intuitive, high-quality user experiences
• Mentor and upskill junior designers through feedback, guidance, and structured development programs
• Promote design thinking, innovation, and best practices within the team, staying current with emerging design trends and technologies
• Partner cross-functionally with development, marketing, and product teams to ensure design cohesion and technical feasibility
• Oversee quality assurance for all design deliverables, ensuring accuracy, creativity, and timely completion
• Develop and manage design systems and reusable components to improve efficiency and visual consistency
• Foster a positive and productive team culture focused on creativity, collaboration, and excellence

• You bring 6+ years of professional design experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role guiding design teams
• You have a strong balance of creative vision and practical execution, ensuring ideas are both inspiring and feasible
• You're deeply experienced in user-centered design, accessibility, prototyping, and design systems
• You excel in client collaboration and relationship management, confidently presenting and defending design concepts
• You have a passion for mentorship, helping designers grow through structured feedback and career development
• You're an exceptional communicator and storyteller, capable of translating complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives
