Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily accounting operations, including processing transactions and making accurate journal entries.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and reconciliation.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist in resolving any discrepancies.
  • Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation as per client and company policies.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing basic financial reports and statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of various financial data for MIS (Management Information Systems), TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), GST (Goods and Services Tax), and other statutory compliances.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g., banks) for data collection and issue resolution.
  • Learn and apply relevant accounting standards and basic tax principles.
  • Contribute to process improvements and maintain data integrity within the accounting systems.

Background & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in finance and accounting roles; freshers with strong foundational knowledge are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data entry, basic formulas, formatting).
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems) will be an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
