Associate (ESG)

As an Associate (ESG) on contract, your role will involve working in the ESG consulting domain with exposure to business development, client handling, and execution of assignments. You will need to have a Masters in a relevant field such as Sustainability Management, Environmental Studies & Resource Management, Climate Science, or Sustainable Development and Policy. Additionally, having qualifications like CFA ESG Certification and/or GARP SCR Certification would be preferred. Your responsibilities will include: - Assessing client needs and developing ESG strategies and policies. - Preparing and delivering reports such as BRSRs, Sustainability Reports, Net-Zero Strategies, and ESG Roadmaps. - Conducting social impact assessments and writing Impact and Sustainability reports. - Undertaking site visits when required and compiling detailed reports. - Engaging in business development activities. To excel in this role, you should possess: - Deep knowledge and understanding of various ESG frameworks, standards, and disclosure norms. - Proficiency in GHG Accounting, Net Zero, Decarbonization, and other related concepts. - Competence in ESG reporting and providing technical input on environmental aspects. - Excellent presentation and communication skills. - Updated awareness of global ESG frameworks, guidelines, and industry trends. - Ability to collaborate with project managers and conduct EIA/ESIA. - Technical understanding of sectors like cement, petrochemicals, power, and steel would be advantageous. - A willingness to work in timelines and independently handle projects.
