Associate Director, Software Engineering ( TECH - R&VS )

Responsibilities:

• Integrate the UI of new products and features

• Implement relevant JavaScriptusingAngular

• Define and code new API endpoints (Java/WebApi)

• Create and upgrade core console applications

• Handle CI/CD process changes in the pipeline

• Define technical requirements and restrictions for new tasks

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and timelines

• Actively participate in grooming sessions with other tech teams, product and professional services

• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

• Support client-facing teams with live inquiries

• Manage planning across multiple projectsvarying in size

• Monitor team performance and project progress, adjusting plans and resources as necessary

• Mentorteam membersin both technical and soft skills

What Were Looking For:

• 8+ years of experience in software development

• Hands on experience of full stack development in Java, including APIs, frontend code (ideally Angular) and console applications

• Experience in people leading skill

• Computer Science B.Sc. university degree or equivalent

• Understanding of RDBMS, SQL and NoSQL alternatives

• Fluent in English (required)

• Experience with AWS cloud platform

• Familiarity with test-driven CI/CD frameworks

• Experience with Agile software development methodologies

• Good knowledge and understanding of Git

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with local and remote teams across multiple time zones
