Job Description

As an Assistant Sales Manager at our property, your role involves assisting in leading the segmented sales effort and implementing the segment sales strategy to achieve revenue goals and guest satisfaction. By conducting day-to-day activities related to the sales function, you will focus on building long-term customer relationships to meet property sales objectives and personal booking goals. Key Responsibilities: - Work with the sales leader to understand and effectively implement the sales strategy for the segment. - Assist in developing and sustaining an aggressive solicitation program to increase business. - Collaborate with the management team to create and implement a sales plan focused on revenue and market growth. - Support the development and execution of promotions, both internal and external. - Provide positive leadership to maximize revenue potential and recommend booking goals for the sales team. - Participate in sales calls to acquire new business and execute the operational aspects of business booked. - Analyze sales and financial data to achieve the property's financial goals. - Review guest satisfaction results to identify areas for improvement. Qualifications Required: - A 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 3 years of sales and marketing experience; OR a 4-year bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience in the sales and marketing field. - Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating exceptional experiences for guests. - Ability to develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally. - Collaborative mindset to work with off-property sales channels and ensure compliance with regulations.
