Role Overview: As a Manager in the Purchase & Sales department at UBS Financial Services Inc., you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of P&S. Your role will involve ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements, leading a team of professionals, acting as the first point of contact for escalations, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. You will also monitor market trends and developments to anticipate and respond to changes effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of P&S - Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements - Lead a team of professionals by providing guidance, training, and support - Act as the first point of contact for local and onshore escalations - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for timely trade matching and settlement - Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the workflow - Monitor market trends and developments to anticipate and respond to changes Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Clearance or related function - Strong knowledge of financial markets and trade lifecycles - Excellent leadership and team management skills - Familiarity with data visualization tools and proficiency in querying and manipulating data for analysis - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities - Strong communication and interpersonal skills About the Company: UBS Financial Services Inc. is a leading firm in the financial services industry, dedicated to providing exceptional wealth management service and innovative solutions to clients.
